So I am guessing that I was able to extract the core audio and discard the atmos metadata.? I haven't found a solution to the audio issue being off sync and I don't know where to go. Originally the audio was showing up as: TrueHD (Atmos), English, 7.1 channels, 48kHz, dialnorm: -27dB. When I eac3to on "OUTPUTCORE.mkv" it shows the video file (unchanged) and also the audio channel as: TrueHD, English, 7.1 channels, 48kHz, dialnorm: -27dB. ![]() The command I used to copy video and extract the truehd_core was:įfmpeg -i INPUT.mkv -c:v copy -bsf:a truehd_core -c:a copy OUTPUTCORE.mkv I am not sure if its because of timestamps error is why I am getting the audio off sync just a bit or if there is something else that I am missing. Fix your code to set the timestamps properly ![]() This is deprecated and will stop working in the future. Timestamps are unset in a packet for stream 1. When I tried the guide with "true_core" to get the core from TrueHD I get the following message: I have tried so many solutions to hopefully fix the audio being a bit off and down sampling to either 5.1 or Stereo but I can not get it to work. I used this guide to help me with ffmpeg true_core. I also tested ffmpeg with "true_core" using the original mkv file but the audio seems a bit off. I then used eac3to on the "originalDolblyAtmos.ac3" using the arguments of -down6 then another sample with -downStereo, -core. I am confident that I extracted the original audio with no issues because when I use eac3to and input the "originalDolblyAtmos.ac3" it shows the stream as being "TrueHD (Atmos), English, 7.1 channels, 48kHz, dialnorm: -27dB". ![]() With mkvextract I found the track to extract and saved the output file as "originalDolblyAtmos.ac3". I searched and found various guides, like extracting the audio with mkvextract and with ffmpeg. ![]() I first thought that it was a problem with the audio streams being to high and my pc not being able to play them correctly so I search on a way to downsample the audio to either a 5.1 or stereo. Like movement of the lips and sound don't really line up. When I play the video the audio seems a bit off. 1 video, 1 TrueHD (Atmos), English, 7.1 channels, 48kHz, dialnorm: -27dB, and 1 AAC, English, 7.1 channels, 48kHz, 9ms. I have been searching for a solution to this problem but I still can't find a solution, I am hoping that someone can help me or guide to the right direction.
